Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood and Boyer, one of the nation’s largest minority and women owned law firms, has an opportunity in its Denver office for an associate with 2+ years of litigation experience to join our expanding office and assume a major role in medical malpractice insurance defense litigation. T

The ideal candidate will have litigation experience, attention to detail, be able to independently problem solve and develop case strategy, and have the desire to work in a fast paced litigation group. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter who is dedicated to building their practice. This is a great opportunity for candidates with a desire to work in a new, dynamic, growing office of a national firm. Flexible work schedule and remote options are available.

• Demonstrates ability to independently produce quality work product; 
• Ability to represent insurers in pre-litigation matters and throughout all stages of litigation; 
• Drafting and editing motions throughout all stages of litigation including dispositive motions, discovery motions, trial motions, and related materials used in mediations 

• J.D. from an accredited law school; 
• 2+ years of litigation experience; 
• Colorado bar admission; 
• Strong organizational and case management skills, including managing multiple cases at once; 
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills; 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; 
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

The hiring range for this position in Denver, CO is: $110,000 - $160,000. Attorneys are also eligible to participate in a quarterly bonus program.
