Overview

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A., is a multi-office national defense firm, seeking Texas licensed attorneys with civil litigation business law experience. The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years civil litigation experience, preferably in consumer finance, commercial litigation, consumer banking litigation, loan workouts and collections involving pre- and post-judgment remedies.

 

Work would entail reviewing and preparing motions, covering hearings, preparing clients for depositions, and attending depositions as well. We are in search of seasoned litigators who can handle files open to close.

Responsibilities

• Researching and analyzing relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents related to commercial litigation and business law matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents for use in commercial litigation proceedings.
• Communicating with clients to provide updates on case developments, answer questions, and address concerns related to commercial litigation matters.
• Representing clients in court proceedings, including attending hearings, arguing motions, and participating in trials related to commercial litigation cases.
• Collaborating with senior attorneys to develop legal strategies and tactics for resolving commercial litigation disputes.
• Participating in settlement negotiations with opposing parties to reach favorable resolutions for clients in commercial litigation matters.
• Analyzing complex legal issues related to commercial disputes and providing strategic advice and counsel to clients based on applicable laws and regulations.
• Reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to assess their implications for commercial litigation matters and advise clients accordingly.
• Staying informed about developments in commercial law, litigation strategies, and industry trends through continuing legal education and professional development activities.
